ABOUT EVANGELIST KIERAN

Evangelist Kieran Chikwendu and the call of God in his life. Kieran was called to serve the Lord as a minister of the gospel in the fall of 1977. Before then he was a devoted Catholic who sought salvation through self-righteousness. As a young person, he was deeply involved in serving as an altar boy. He eventually ended up in the Catholic Seminary where he started to study, to become a priest. He gave his life to Christ and accepted Him as Lord and Savior in the summer of 1975 while he was still in the Catholic Seminary. Kieran was born again on Monday, August 18, 1975, during a funeral service. A Christian brother by the name of Silas Urebu had been killed in a motor accident and was being buried on Monday the 18th of August 1975. It was at that burial service that he confessed Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Following his repentance and acceptance of Christ as his Savior, he changed his mind from his desire to become a priest.
Graduating from the Catholic junior Seminary, he started to make plans to attend a secular university rather than pursue his seminary education to an advanced level. It was at this point that the Lord began to redirect him to attend Bible school in preparation for the call of God in his life.

Kieran attended All Nations For Christ Bible Institute, Benin City in 1978. All Nations For Christ Bible Institute is a school of ministry designated for the training of young ministers, for the initial entry into the service of God. Following his graduation from the school of ministry, he pastored for three years before the LORD granted him the grace to pursue advanced studies in the United States of America.

Kieran earned a B. A degree in Christian Religion at Azusa Pacific University; M.A degree in Psychology (Human Behavior) at National University, San Diego, California; Multiple-subject Professional Clear Credential from California State University, Los Angeles, California.

The Lord also granted Kieran the grace to serve the local community as a public School Instructor for Los Angeles Unified School District for many years. Under the Leadership of the Lord Jesus Christ and guardian of the Holy Spirit, “Global Commission Outreach Ministries” (GCOM) was established. Jesus Christ is the supreme Director, and Kieran Chikwendu is the general overseer. Coming from a very humble background, Kieran’s Story is that of encouragement and inspiration to the very weak and underprivileged. With God, nothing shall be impossible.
