Hope for Prisoners assists when they are incarcerated and there reentry to the community by providing them long-term support and services as they work to reclaim their lives, families and standing in the community. We give them hope. Hope changes lives.

Prison ministry teaches deep spiritual lessons, such as how to forgive, how to restore, and how to really pray (reminding that God does all the work in prison ministry). It also teaches very practical lessons about listening, patience, cross-cultural communication, and theological diversity among Christians.
In the beginning, Jesus said that God “has sent me to proclaim release to the captives” (Luke 4:18). He was reading a passage from Isaiah 61:1, which records that the Spirit of God had anointed his servant “to proclaim liberty to the captives, and opening of the prison to those who are bound.”
